The empty house

My younger brother Wafy got an offer letter from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). The offer letter came late, after he got admitted himself in the East West University and spend almost 30,000 there. He'll be flying to Malaysia the day after tomorrow.

I smell an empty house. We are five brothers and adopted little Ateea as our sister. I am the eldest among them, still eating and sleeping on dad's money. My immediate younger brother Waly has gone to France only two months ago. Now Wafy, the 4rth one, is going, too. The 3rd one, Wasy, is trying for Canada. My graduation would take another year and a half. Then I would be gone to England for my Masters. The house is already empty, isn't it? My youngest brother Safi is a sixth grader. He will be staying for long. And Ateea, too. But I promise I'll be back.

  2. Hi Wamy,
My younger brother also left Dhaka yesterday for IIUM. I think you should get in touch with me, or I should get in touch with you, so that our brothers can get in touch with each other.

I totally understand the Empty House situation. We are five brothers too, and right now only the youngest is home, alone.

Your blog's pretty cool: keep up the good work!

  3. Nazzina, what a coincident he is also trying for Winsor. I have many friends in Windsor who transferred their credit from the Independent University Bangladesh, specially Sanith, Tareq, and Masud.

Arafat, you are absolutely right. My brother's name is Hasan Imam Wafy. His subject is Political Science. Temporarily, he'll be living there with my uncle.

    Thanks for your comments.
